St. Augustine, FL-The Limelight Theatre is proud to present Neil Simon’s, “Biloxi Blues,” a coming of age comedy set during WWII. The production opens at the Limelight Theatre, Friday, April 11, 2008 at 7:30PM. There will be a champagne reception at 7:00PM. Performances continue Saturday the 12th, at 7:30PM, Sunday at 2PM and for the next four weeks Thursday – Saturday at 7:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday Matinee at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $22. Student Rush Tickets $10. There will be a Terrific Tuesday performance on April 15th at 7:30 PM (2 tickets for $25). Please call for reservations.
“Biloxi Blues” is directed by Rich Curran-Kelley, himself a West Point graduate. The comedy was honored with a Tony Award for the best play of 1985, and (bawdy, barracks) humor fills each scene, and indeed, almost every line. The cast includes: James Bennett, Amadeus Hill, Kevin Jaegar, Gabriel Jacobs-Kierstein, Ezara Loy, Samantha Perez, Andrew Reynolds, Matt Shuman, and Meaghan Towne.
