Limelight Theatre Presents a Special Halloween Night Performance of "Frankenstein"

10.22.2007

St. Augustine, FL – Come join the suspense as Fear and Terror are neatly counter pointed by humor in this otherwise faithful adaptation by Tim Kelly, of Mary Shelley’s prophetic classic, ”Frankenstein”. There will be a special Halloween performance on Wednesday, October 31st at 9pm. Tickets are $22-$15. Student Rush Tickets $10. Costumes are encouraged.

Directed by Bob Pritchard, the cast includes Greg Leute, James Bennett, Tim Kompanchenko, Elle Kendall, Margaret Kaler, Sean Sacco, Nancy Arico, Casey Sacco, and Rae Wilson.

Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant young scientist, returns to his Swiss chateau to escape a terrible pursuer. No one can shake free the dark secret that terrifies him: not his mother, nor his fiancée, or his best friend. Even the pleading of a gypsy girl accused of murdering Victor’s brother falls on deaf ears. For the creature that was brought into being by Victor, tracks him to his sanctuary to demand a bride to share its loneliness. Tim Kelly’s thoughtful version of the classic tale is thought provoking and highly entertaining.

Tickets are on sale now and reservations may be made through the Box Office (904) 825-1164. Box Office hours are 10-4 Tuesday – Saturday. The Limelight is located in the Joukowsky Family Foundation Center for the Performing Arts at 11 Old Mission Avenue, uptown St. Augustine.
