Youth Programs

Intro to Theatre & Acting
In this fun and engaging class, young actors explore the basics of acting through games, storytelling, and imaginative play. During the 12 week class, students will learn to express themselves with their voice, body, and face while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork. Perfect for beginners, this class introduces stage presence, character creation, and performance skills in a supportive and playful environment. No experience necessary—just bring your imagination!

Advanced Scene Study
This 12 week class is designed for students with prior acting experience. Through partner and group scene work, students explore complex characters, sharpen their emotional truth, and refine performance techniques. Emphasis is placed on script analysis, active listening, and making bold, authentic choices on stage.

Seussical Jr
Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
