WHAT TO PREPARE:

Please prepare a 32-bar cut of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring your sheet music with clear, legible markings for the accompanist.

Callbacks will include a dance and group-acting exercise. Please bring a change of clothes and be prepared to move.

• PLEASE NOTE: Due to the physical demands of the show, performers must be between the ages of 16–35. *

ROLES AVAILABLE:

Jesus (Male/Tenor)
Charismatic and high-energy, yet gentle and loving. The deceptively calm leader of the troupe.

John the Baptist / Judas (Male/Baritone)
Portrays two biblical figures—one an ardent disciple, the other a doubter. Charismatic with a bold, revolutionary presence.

Robin (Female/Mezzo-Soprano)
Sweet and tomboyish, the first to commit (sings “Day by Day”).

Lamar (Male/Tenor)
Gentle and innocent disciple (sings “All Good Gifts”).

Gilmer (Female/Mezzo-Soprano)
A guiding light and comedienne within the group (sings “Learn Your Lessons Well”).

Jeffrey (Male/Tenor)
High-energy, playful, and impish (sings “We Beseech Thee”).

Peggy (Female/Alto)
Shy and thoughtful; once she understands, she commits fully (sings “By My Side”).

Herb (Male/Baritone)
The troupe’s class clown with a talent for voices and imitation (sings part of “Light of the World”).

Joanne (Female/Soprano)
Confident and bold, always first to volunteer (sings “Bless the Lord”).

Sonia (Female/Soprano)
Slightly cynical and sassy with strong character presence (sings “Turn Back, O Man”).
