Once on This Island is a Musical that tells the mythical story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl on a Caribbean island, who falls in love with a wealthy, light-skinned boy named Daniel. As their cultures divide them, Ti Moune undertakes a quest guided by the island's gods—Agwé, Erzulie, Asaka, and Papa Ge—who make a bet on whether love or death will triumph. The story offers a tale of love, loss, and the triumph of the human spirit against social barriers and fate.
Lullaby of the Rivers is pleased to offer another Ancient Limits concert at the Limelight Theatre in downtown St. Augustine. Amy Hendrickson and John Dickie, two performers from the heart of the St. Augustine music community, will be face-to-face and song-to-song on the stage of the Limelight's Black Box theater.
A hilarious comedy taking place in 1938, when the world is on the verge of war, and a group of locals in a small town in North Carolina hear Orson Welles "War of the Worlds" on the radio and think they are being invaded by Martians.
Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka JR. is a high-energy, family-friendly musical that brings the magic of the chocolate factory to life. Packed with catchy songs, colorful characters, and big imagination, the show celebrates creativity, humility, and the rewards of doing the right thing.
