Ah, Wilderness!
A play full of heart and wit that celebrates family and community, Ah Wilderness! takes place in 1906 Connecticut, when a young man falls in love with poetry and a girl, and ends up with his heart broken. But with the help of others, he may yet find happiness. It offers a tender, retrospective portrait of small town family values, teenage growing pains, and young love.
God Of Carnage
What begins as polite conversation quickly unravels into escalating insults, exposed hypocrisies, and childish behavior. The dark comedy, God of Carnage, satirizes modern civility, exposing how thin the veneer of social decorum truly is when pride and principle collide.
Our Town
Written by Thornton Wilder, “Our Town” explores the simple, everyday lives of the residents of the fictional American town, Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, between 1901 and 1913. The play is narrated by a metaphysical character, titled the “Stage Manager”, and focuses on the Gibbs and Webb families, particularly the developing relationship between their children, George Gibbs and Emily Webb. It addresses the themes of life, love, death, and the importance of appreciating the present moment.
Rhinoceros
In this action-packed allegory that warns of the dangers of nationalistic fervor, mob mentality, and the rise of destructive political forces, a provincial village is overrun by rhinoceroses. A young man watches his world descend into the chaos of the stampede, and he is faced with the moral dilemma of his own identity in the face of societal decay.
Sense & Sensibility
Based on Jane Austen’s classic novel, “Sense & Sensibility” follows Elinor and Marianne, as they become destitute upon the death of their father, who leaves his estate to their half-brother, John. Due to John's wife’s interference, they must survive on a meager allowance.
Crimes of the Heart
Set in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, “Crimes of the Heart” follows three eccentric, estranged sisters - Lenny, Meg and Babe - who reunite at their family home after Babe shoots her abusive husband.
