Audition Date – Saturday, April 4, 2026 (Starting at 10:00am)

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Please prepare a short memorized monologue (1–2 minutes) suitable for a historical drama. Monologues may be classical or contemporary but should reflect strong storytelling and emotional clarity.

Some roles may involve staged combat, movement, or ensemble storytelling during callbacks, so please dress comfortably and be prepared to move.

ROLES AVAILABLE:

Narrator / Storyteller (Any Gender/Age Range Flexible)
Guides the audience through the historical events of the battle. Requires strong vocal projection, clarity, and command of language.

Colonel Joseph Winston (Male)
Leader of the Patriot forces. Requires a commanding presence, strong dramatic delivery, and leadership onstage.

Major Gideon Wright (Male)
A respected Patriot officer. Requires emotional depth and grounded realism.

Captain Henry Francis (Male)
British officer opposing the Patriots. Strong authority, composure, and dramatic tension required.

Patriot Soldiers (Male/Female, Various Ages)
Militia members fighting for independence. Requires ensemble work, physicality, and strong character commitment.

Loyalist Soldiers (Male/Female, Various Ages)
British-aligned fighters. Must be comfortable portraying conflict and structured military movement.

Civilians / Townspeople (Male/Female, Various Ages)
Local residents affected by the battle. Strong acting ability and ensemble storytelling required.

Women of the Community (Female, Various Ages)
Represents families, resilience, and the human cost of war. Emotional authenticity and stage presence essential.

Youth Roles (Male/Female)
Younger members of the community witnessing the events. Requires focus, strong listening skills, and ensemble awareness.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This production may include period movement, staged combat, and outdoor-style staging elements. No prior combat experience is required; training will be provided as needed.
